Maintain, install & repair electrical instrumentation, control systems & mechanical equipment at the District’s water & wastewater systems. Req: HS Diploma (GED) & 3 yrs. exp or tech. training as Electrician, Electronic Tech. or equiv combo. Approved electrical apprenticeship program preferred. Work in a self-directed work environment & show high level of initiative. Available for & able to evaluate emergency callouts & work OT as req’d. Good computer, math, org. & cust. svc. skills. Lift &/or move 50 – 100 lbs. Deal courteously & efficiently with the public. Valid DL, Journeyman Electrician cert. desired. Obtain cert. w/in 1 yr. of hire as Grade I Electrical/Instrumentation & w/in 18 mo. Grade I Water Treatment cert. from approved agency. DETAILS IN JOB ANNOUNCEMENT. Rate: $35.51 - $42.62/hr.
