Incline Village Golf Courses COVID-19 Rules and Regulations 

The following measures have been implemented at the Incline Village Golf Courses to reduce touchpoints and adhere to state and local COVID-19 guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as these rules and regulations may change at any time. Visit this page often for updates.

Booking & Payments

  • Tee times are required in advance and can be done either online or over the phone. There will be no walkups allowed.
  • Credit card payments only.
  • Payments will be processed at the golf shop and receipts emailed.
  • Tee times will be in 15 minute increments.
  • IVGID Picture Pass Holders may book up to two weeks in advance with up to 3 guests with no pre-booking fee.
  • Any IVGID Picture Pass Holder bookings outside of two (2) weeks will include a non-refundable pre-booking fee of $10 per golfer at the Championship Course and $5 per golfer at the Mountain Course (this fee does not offset any of the normal green fees).
  • Tee times will open to the public 14 days in advance.
  • Groups will be foursomes and paired accordingly.
  • Rental sets, demo clubs, and bag storage are unavailable.

Arrival & Check-In

  • Please do not come to the golf course if you feel sick, are experiencing a fever, cough, other COVID-19 related symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who is sick.
  • Check-in at the Golf Shop is a maximum of 30 minutes before your tee time.
  • Masks or face coverings are encouraged.
  • Maintain a minimum 6-foot social distance at all times.
  • Golf shop occupancy limited to 10 people – special markers indicate where to stand.
  • Scorecards and pencils will be provided at the golf shop upon check-in.
  • Golf carts are limited to one rider unless living at the same address.
  • Golfers need to load, unload, and clean their own clubs.
  • Towels, tees, and water coolers will not be provided.

Practice Facilities

  • View current hours on the Hours of Operations page
  • Practice golf balls must be purchased and picked up in the golf shop.
  • Practice golf balls will be distributed in a mesh bag.
  • Driving range stations will be a minimum of ten feet apart.
  • Certain driving range stations will be designated for instruction, golfers warming up for their round only.
  • No tees, bag stands, clocks, alignment sticks, or drinking water will be available.
  • Pick up tees after use.
  • Leave the empty mesh bag on the range after use. 

On the Course

  • No ball washers, benches, trash bins, or hazard stakes available.
  • Pick up tees after each tee shot.
  • Golfers are not to touch or remove flagsticks.
  • Holes will be modified with PVC pipe in the bottom of the cup to allow for easy ball removal.
  • Rakes have been removed. Use your club or foot to smooth the sand.
  • On course restrooms will be available and cleaned hourly.

Food & Beverages

  • Credit card payments only.  
  • Ordering on cart GPS screen or at Lower Snack Bar window.
  • Drinking fountains and water stations are not available.
  • Bottle water available for purchase.

After your Round

  • Return your cart to cart barn.
  • Golfers must leave the property immediately after playing.
  • The handicap score posting stations are closed.
  • Post scores online or on the USGA mobile app.

Golf Shop Merchandise

  • Masks or face coverings are encouraged.
  • Disposable masks, gloves and hand sanitizer will be available in the Golf Shop.
  • Maintain a minimum 6-foot social distance at all times. We have removed several racks and displays to allow more space inside the store for social distancing. 
  • Credit cards only.
  • Any clothing or footwear that has been tried on is steamed.
  • No returns or exchanges.
  • Virtual shopping and curbside pickup available (contact the District Merchandiser to inquire 775-832-1159 / gep@ivgid.org) 

Golf Instruction

  • Private/individual lessons only (semi-private lessons available with a direct family member living in same household).
  • Maintain a minimum 6-foot social distance at all times.
  • Masks or face coverings are encouraged.
  • The student and instructor will use their own equipment during lesson.
  • Fitting clubs or training aids will be available and sanitized after each lesson.
  • Student will tee up golf balls.
  • Golf carts will not be used for lessons unless it is an on course playing lesson and carts will not be shared.
  • Water coolers will not be provided.
  • Eating is not permitted during lessons.
  • Group lessons available through video only.

Tournaments, Events, and Leagues

  • Tournaments, camps, clinics, events and leagues are cancelled until further notice.

Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Practice golf balls will be washed twice and sanitized.
  • Any clothing or footwear that has been tried on is steamed.
  • Disposable masks, gloves and hand sanitizer will be available in the Golf Shop.
  • All surfaces like counters, credit card machines, door handles, etc. are disinfected frequently throughout the day.
  • Staff will wear gloves and masks when interacting with players or equipment.
  • Additional cleaning and sanitizing measures have been put in place.
