The following measures have been implemented at the Incline Village Recreation Center to reduce touchpoints and adhere to state and local COVID-19 guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as these rules and regulations may change at any time. Visit this page often for updates.

Hours of Operation: 

  • Parks & Recreation Counter Administrative Services is open from 9am - 4:45pm on a first come, first served basis.  Please wear a mask, and abide by social distancing markers and requirements. Please check-in at the temporary “Greeter Desk”.  The “Greeter” will help facilitate your business at the counter.  Bring all information you need to accomplish your transaction and promptly leave the building once your transaction is completed.   • Basketball Gymnasium & Cardio/Strength Conditioning Room 1-hour reservations, available:
    • Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 6:30pm
    • Saturday and Sunday - 7:00am to 3:45pm  
    • For your safety the lobby, locker rooms, drinking fountains, coffee service, Kid Zone and the recycled book, batteries and electronics collections will be closed until a future date.

As the daylight decreases, and the weather becomes colder, we anticipate an increase in users at the Recreation Center.  During Covid-19, we are operating under the guidelines and regulations suggested by the State, OSHA, CDC and Fitness Industry leaders to maintain social distancing, limited access, and ensure the safety of users and staff. Prior to coming to the Incline Village Recreation Center, please familiarize yourself with the guidelines and regulations required before accessing the building.

To increase the number of reservation times available to users, 1-hour reservation slots will be implemented beginning October 5, with expanded weekday hours of operation. At this time, access to the Recreation Center requires a 3-month membership to enable a reservation booking.  No drop-ins or temporary memberships are available.

 Below are descriptions of the reservation types available, and how to book them. RESERVATIONS will be essential as more users access the Recreation Center.  A reservation will only be held for 15 minutes after the start time.

Updated Rules

  • Reservations required - please do not drop-in to the Incline Village Recreation without a reservation.
  • Please stop at the temporary “Greeter” station on the walkway to confirm your reservation and complete any necessary paperwork, then scan your membership card inside.
  • Please do not come to the Incline Village Recreation Center if you have just returned to the area, if you feel sick, if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is known to be sick.
  • When you enter the Recreation Center, please disinfect your hands, wear a mask, and abide by social distancing protocol and signage.
  • Please do not bring additional people who are not on the reservation, or not necessary for your Recreation Counter transaction.
  • Please do not send your children to the Incline Village Recreation Center unsupervised. Children under the age of 15, who have memberships, may use the facility with an adult chaperone who has a membership and has made a reservation.  If you are with your family, please assist your children in social distancing.

Reservations can be found under Activity Search Criteria as the following types:

Please note that members may book up to 4 sessions in a 7-day window, but cannot book more than 7 days in advance of the date of a session. Refer to the attached guide for instructions on how to login and reserve sessions.


Check In Procedures

  • Please stop at the temporary “Greeter” station to confirm your reservation and complete any necessary paperwork, then scan your membership card inside.
  • When you enter the Recreation Center, please disinfect your hands, wear a mask and abide by social distancing protocol and signage.

Cardio/Strength Area

  • Please arrive at your reservation start time and leave promptly at the end of your reservation.
  •  Use the upstairs restrooms as showers and locker room facilities are not accessible at this time.
  • Please do not bring valuables with you as there is no locker use at this time.
  • Please pre and post clean the machines and equipment you use.
  • Wear a mask or social distance a minimum of 6 feet in the Cardio/Strength Area.

Pool & Sauna

Pool 1-hour lap swim reservations available:

  • Monday & Thursday - 6:00am to 2:45pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 7:15am to 2:45pm
  • Saturday & Sunday - 7:00am to 3:45pm
  • Please arrive at your reservation start time and leave promptly at the end of your reservation.
  • Showers and Locker Room Facilities are not accessible at this time.  Members must be swim ready upon arrival.  There will be no changing on the deck or in the bathrooms.
  • Please do not bring valuables with you as there is no locker use at this time.
  • All lanes are single use unless you are swimming with a family member.
  • There is no shared equipment available during this time.

Group and Water Fitness Classes

Group Fitness & Water Fitness classes are available by reservation. See Group and Water Fitness schedules for times and class types. Classes are limited to 10 participants per class and are by reservation only. If you do not have a reservation, and you are a member, please check with the “Greeter Desk” for standby availability.

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before class start times, go directly to the location of your class, and leave immediately after the class.
  • Bring mask and water. 
  • You may uncover your mouth and nose during the class to breathe, maintaining 10 feet from other participants. If you need to move through the room during class, please wear your mask.
  • Water Fitness Class Participants: Please shower at home prior to class.
  • Please do not gather beforehand, and leave promptly after class.
  • Class schedule will expand as demand increases.

Gymnasium

  • Please arrive at your reservation start time and leave promptly at the end of your reservation.
  • Use the upstairs restrooms as showers and locker room facilities are not accessible at this time.
  • Please do not bring valuables with you as there is no locker use at this time.
  • Reservations are made for a quarter (quadrant) of the gym.  Members can use this area for personal workouts, basketball, or other ball sports.  Four active members can share (if they feel safe) a quadrant of the gym to play ball sports, or workout with family members.  If playing a sport that can’t maintain 6-feet social distancing (example: basketball), please wear a mask.  A reservation may be made by one member; however, all four individuals must enter the facility together.
  • There is no shared equipment available during this time.  Please bring your own ball.
