Are you new in town or looking for new outdoor activities to enjoy with family and friends this summer? Incline Village has some amazing outdoor venues that are free and open to the public, thanks to partnerships with organizations and locals who are passionate about recreation. We reached out to residents who frequent our outdoor spaces in the heart of Incline including the new Bocce Ball Park, North Tahoe Lions Club Disc Golf Course, Robert & Robin Holman Family Bike Park, Incline Village Fitness Trail, Incline Skate Park and more. Read why they love these venues and then plan on adding some of these activities to your “Summer Bucket List.”

“The Incline Village Disc Golf Course offers a great way to recreate outside and enjoy fresh mountain air and nature most of the year, free of charge. Have fun with friends and families, regardless of age or skill levels, while improving eye hand brain coordination and working toward your personal best.” - David “Fez” Duffié (Founding Member of the Incline Disc Golf Association)

“As Incline Village locals, we are so incredibly grateful to have access to the amazing IVGID recreation venues. One of our favorites is the Incline Bike Park – which caters to all levels, especially the smallest of riders. My 4-year-old gained confidence and balance on his strider bike last summer, and we look forward to taking him again this summer now that he is on a pedal bike. Between the shaded picnic tables, and bike park features that cater to all levels, the Incline Bike Park is one of our family’s top choices for where to spend the day.” - Aly Nugent

“The New Bocce Courts by the Incline Village Rec Center are a much appreciated addition. Thank you IVGID. Last summer/fall 2020 I would meet friends on Friday evenings after work to play a few games. There was always a gathering of several groups. It was quite fun to meet new people who love Bocce as much as I do. Someone would play music and everyone would bring drinks. A great ending to the work week. I can’t wait for it to start up again. The courts are in a perfect location and well kept. They even provide rakes so we can get the course ready for play.” - Wendy Hummer

“IVGID Parks takes our small town to the next level from disc golf to the new pump track. Never short of something active to do with my friends or with the youth group.” - Gabe Cheadle

"I want to thank IVGID for the new bocce courts located at the Rec Center. They are outstanding. I also give the members of the Bocce Boyz club a shoutout for their continued support of the project." Jim Brockman

"From afar, the skate park seems to be just concrete and metal in the shape of a swimming pool. While this may be true, there is a lot more going on behind the scenes. From young ones getting the thrill of their inaugural tricks, to adults who enjoy the sense of community and friendship. There is something for everyone at the Incline Skate Park." - Cedar Gately (Coach Cedar, Village Skate School)

“We have been enjoying the new bocce courts by the Rec Center. It is a nice place to hang out after work, we bring snacks and drinks and play a few games in the evening during the summer. We like that it is less crowded there than the court at the beach.” - Jon Tekulve
