Leaders in Training and Education Program (L.I.T.E.)

The Incline Village Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, hard-working teens entering 6th - 10th grade for our LITE program. LITE members will be trained and work for a minimum of one full week at our summer camp (about 30 hours). They will be in charge of designing and leading activities on their assigned week, have the opportunity to go on field trips, receive valuable training and be responsible for planning the end of the year camp party. Members of the program will receive community service hours, resume building, real work experience, and leadership skills. All students must fill out an application to be accepted in to the L.I.T.E. Program.

TK Basketball Camps

(Ages 6 - 14)

This popular youth basketball camp is designed to teach the skills needed to become an all-around basketball player!  Led by Incline High School Boys Varsity Coach, Tim Kelly.

Days/Time: Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm

Session I: July 9th - 13th, 2018 
Session II: August 6th - 10th, 2018

Location: Incline Village Recreation Center, 980 Incline Way

Fee: $250, $200 w/IVGID Pass (per session)

Middle School Volleyball Skills Camp

(Ages 10 - 13)

Camp is designed to teach players the overall basics of volleyball, (passing, serving, attacking, blocking and defense) and how those skills relate to team volleyball!

Days/Time: Monday - Wednesday, 11am - 3pm
Dates: June 25 – June 27, 2018

Fee: $175, $140 w/IVGID Pass

Shotokan Karate (all ages)

This class is designed for everyone interested in learning the art of Karate. The beginner or the advanced student will be able to make great progress in self-defense and benefit from improved physical and mental health, self-discipline and self-confidence. This is an ongoing class taught by Gregg Henrikson. Scholarships available. Please pick up an application at the Parks & Recreation Department Counter or call (775) 832-1310 for details.

Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays, ongoing; 7:10 pm - 8:40 pm
Fees: 10 class punch card: $79, $64 w/ IVGID Pass, Drop-In $10, $7.50 w/IVGID Pass

School Year Programs

Teen Dances (Grades 6-8)

The Parks & Recreation Department sponsors four teen dances every school year. We have a great DJ that plays all the latest music. Appropriate dress and behavior is required to attend our dances. No glow items are allowed. All Incline, Lake Tahoe School, TEA, and Sage Ridge middle school students are welcome to attend!

Dates: Spring, Fall, Winter dates TBD; 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Fee: $8/person at the door with student ID card
