Play Like a Champion Volleyball League

Led by Incline High School Volleyball Coach Tim Kelly, this program will include skills, drills, and match play in six sessions.  League is for girls ages 10-14 years old.

2018 Girls Youth Softball

Don't miss out on our upcoming Girls Youth Softball League!  There will be 3 divisions of Girls Softball teams, divided by grade level. (2nd - 4th, 5th & 6th and 7th -9th) The league is open to girls of all abilities.  The program will start with practices in late April and go through to mid-June.  Games will be after school and on Saturdays.  Fee includes jersey and an individual team photo. 

Days/Dates: Practices begin in late April, games are played after school and Saturdays through mid-June

Divisions: Grades 2-4 slowpitch, Grades 5-6 fastpitch, and Grades 7-9 fastpitch

"So You Think You Can Dance" Middle School Contemporary Jazz

Instructor Brittnee Bramy has designed a Contemporary Jazz class specifically for Middle Schoolers!  Contemporary Jazz is an eclectic, versatile dance form that is relevant to the pop culture of today. It incorporates jazz, ballet, modern and some HipHop elements. Dancers will build upon techniques that encourage the personal expression of movement.  View flyer

Fairytale Ballet Performance Session

Fairytale Ballet Performance Session is for dancers ages 3-5 years old. They will enjoy learning ballet fundamentals and terminology, while dressed as their favorite fairytale characters!  This pre-ballet class will include basic ballet dance, reenactment of dance parts, dress-up, free dance and the reading of fairytales.  View flyer

Jazz Hip Hop Fusion

Combining technical aspects of Jazz dance with modern Hip Hop elements, this class encourages students to explore the dance style used in today’s videos, movies and on dance floors everywhere.  If your child is between the ages of 6 & 8 and dreams of dancing their way onto MTV this is definitely the class for them!  All moves taught will be age-appropriate.  View flyer

Hip Hop Performance Session

Instructor Brittnee Bramy will introduce the elements of Hip Hop in a class designed for ages 9 through 11. Dancers will focus on rhythm, syncopation and stage presence while enjoying expression through this relevant dance style derived from a combination of jazz, funk and street jazz. This style of dance requires high energy, attention to detail and an awareness of complex rhythms.  View flyer

Youth Basketball League

Grades: 1st - 8th

This popular Incline Village/North Lake Tahoe/Truckee basketball league is open to players of all abilities in the1st - 9th grades.  Players will learn and develop fundamentals of the game, rules and teamwork and sportsmanship; winning is de-emphasized. Teams are coached by community volunteers. There are coed leagues for 1st - 4th graders; boys leagues for 5th - 6th and 7th - 8th graders, and girls leagues for 5th - 6th and 7th - 9th graders.  Each participant will receive a team t-shirt and photo.  A skills day will be held dependent on the number of players registered for each specific age group.

Fee: $100, w/IVGID Pass $80

Shotokan Karate (all ages)

This class is designed for everyone interested in learning the art of Karate. The beginner or the advanced student will be able to make great progress in self-defense and benefit from improved physical and mental health, self-discipline and self-confidence. Leaders in Training and Education Program (L.I.T.E.)

The Incline Village Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, hard-working teens entering 6th - 10th grade for our LITE program. LITE members will be trained and work for a minimum of one full week at our summer camp (about 30 hours). They will be in charge of designing and leading activities on their assigned week, have the opportunity to go on field trips, receive valuable training and be responsible for planning the end of the year camp party. Members of the program will receive community service hours, resume building, real work experience, and leadership skills.

Fees: $62, $50 w/IVGID Pass (includes camp uniform, training materials and field trip expenses)

Teen Dances (Grades 6-8)

The Parks & Recreation Department sponsors four teen dances every school year. We have a great DJ that plays all the latest music. Appropriate dress and behavior is required to attend our dances. No glow items are allowed. All Incline, Lake Tahoe School, TEA, and Sage Ridge middle school students are welcome to attend!

Dates: Spring, Fall, Winter dates TBD; 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Fee: $8/person at the door with student ID card
