Quality coaching and summer fun rolled into one!  Join us for this top-class camp in beautiful Lake Tahoe, directed by two local stars and an accomplished Bay Area talent & female leader (Peter Salazar, Michael Ceragioli & Allie Tao, see below flyer for bios).  Focused technical skills development for all levels, along with a fun and accepting atmosphere.  Ages 5-15. Middle School Contemporary Jazz Performance Session

Instructor Brittnee Bramy has designed a Contemporary Jazz class specifically for Middle Schoolers!  Contemporary Jazz is an eclectic, versatile dance form that is relevant to the pop culture of today.  It incorporates jazz, ballet, modern and some HipHop elements. Dancers will build upon techniques that encourage the personal expression of movement.

16 Classes Begin: Fridays, March 3 - March 31 

Following Spring Break: Fridays, April 21 - June 2

Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Location: Incline Village Recreation Center, Group Fitness Room, 980 Incline Way

Performance Date: Friday, June 9, 2017 (details to follow) at Incline High School Theater, 499 Village Blvd

Fee for 12 classes and performance costume: $190 or $150 w/IVGID pass

TK Basketball Camp

This youth basketball camp, held at Incline High School for ages 6-14, is designed to teach the skills needed to become an all-around basketball player. Coached by Incline High School Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Tim Kelly.

Days: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Session I: June 19 - 23, 2017
Session II: July 31 - August 4, 2017
Fee: $250, $200 w/IVGID Pass (per session)

Shotokan Karate (all ages)

This class is designed for everyone interested in learning the art of Karate. The beginner or the advanced student will be able to make great progress in self-defense and benefit from improved physical and mental health, self-discipline and self-confidence. Leaders in Training and Education Program (L.I.T.E.)

The Incline Village Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, hard-working teens entering 6th - 10th grade for our LITE program. LITE members will be trained and work for a minimum of one full week at our summer camp (about 30 hours). They will be in charge of designing and leading activities on their assigned week, have the opportunity to go on field trips, receive valuable training and be responsible for planning the end of the year camp party. Members of the program will receive community service hours, resume building, real work experience, and leadership skills.

*Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 26, 2017

Mandatory Orientation: June 22, 2017, 12:00 - 4:00 pm

Fees: $62, $50 w/IVGID Pass (includes camp uniform, training materials and field trip expenses)

Teen Dances (Grades 6-8)

The Parks & Recreation Department sponsors four teen dances every school year. We have a great DJ that plays all the latest music. Appropriate dress and behavior is required to attend our dances. No glow items are allowed. All Incline, Lake Tahoe School, TEA, and Sage Ridge middle school students are welcome to attend!

Dates: Spring, Fall, Winter dates TBD; 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Fee: $8/person at the door with student ID card
