Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Lead and train entry and intermediate snowmakers to utilize proper snowmaking logistics • Lead and train staff on snowmobile/ UTV operations • Lead and train staff how to set up / tear down, transport and operate all types of snow guns • Lead and train staff on proper snow quality checks • Continue to develop a teamwork atmosphere • Have an in depth understanding of pump and compressor operation • Have a full understanding of mountain layout and travel routes Additional Requirements: • At least 2 seasons experience of snowmaking • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs • Fluent in English • Ability to work with various hand and power tools • Comfortable working around heavy equipment • Ability to work outside in adverse conditions • Adhere to Departmental and Diamond Peak safety standards • Snowmobile and/or UTV experience – preferred not required • Basic First Aid/CPR, WFR, EMT- preferred not required Rate: $26/hr. DOE
