Coordinate, maintain, support, install, repair & utilize: all aspects of the District’s specialized operational technology systems associated with the Water/Wastewater Div.; electrical instrumentation, control systems & mechanical equipment. Participate in planning, design, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, repair, integration, training & modification of assigned systems.Req: HS diploma (GED) & AA electronics or similar discipline; 3 yrs. professional exp. with PLC/RTU programming & SCADA system maint.: 3 yrs. exp. instrumentation/control systems; or 2 yrs. exp. or tech training as Electrician, Electronic Tech, or equivalent combo. educ/exp is preferred but not req’d. Self-directed work environment & able to read/interpret safety, operating/maint. instructions & electrical/instrumentation diagrams. Work independently w/high level initiative & available for after hour, holiday & wknds as needed for emergencies. Strong computer, good org, cust svc skills. Communicate courteously & efficiently (in-person/written) w/customers & staff.Possess valid DL & Grade I Water Treatment & Grade I Wastewater Treatment certs. from NDEP obtain w/in 2 yrs. Possess Grade III Electrical/Instrumentation cert. from CWEA preferred but not req’d. Rate: $41.31 - $49.57/hr. DOE/DOQ & incl. fantastic benefit pkg. OPEN UNTIL FILLED. Req’d appl due to HR.
