North lake Tahoe's Premiere Course

A classic 18-hole public Lake Tahoe golf course featuring a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design and beautiful lake views. This par-72 course was completely renovated in 2003 and gets many accolades. The Championship Course in North Lake Tahoe was top ranked on the 2022 GolfPass Golfers' Choice lists - #17 best course in the U.S., #2 nationwide for conditions, and #3 nationwide for course layout, plus #3 overall in the state of Nevada. The Championship Course was also voted #10 in GolfAdvisor's 2018 "Best Courses in Nevada" list and always at or near the top of their "Top Rated Courses in the Tahoe Area" list, the "Best in State" 2012 - 2015 by Golf Digest magazine, "Best Courses to Play" in 2011 and "Best State-by-State Courses" in 2020 by Golfweek magazine.

What to Expect

The Championship Course has a driving range with top-of-the line hitting mats, chipping green, putting green, fully stocked Golf Shop, comfortable electric golf carts with Visage Golf GPS, one ChargePoint electric vehicle charging station (available 7am-7pm), snack bar, bar carts and restaurant, The Grille at The Chateau.

Practice Facilities

The Championship Course offers excellent facilities to practice your swing or your short game including a driving range, chipping green and putting green. We recommend getting to the course early to warm up at each practice station and relax before hitting the course. 

Driving Range Rates

  • Small Bucket/22 balls - $8 ($6 w/IVGID pass)
  • Medium Bucket/44 balls - $13 ($11 w/IVGID pass)
  • Large Bucket/66 balls - $18 ($16 w/IVGID pass).
  • Range Cards are available in amounts of $100, $200 or $300.

Purchase range tickets inside the Championship Golf Shop.

Golf Season Range Hours: Range tickets are sold 30 minutes before first tee time until the golf shop closes (see golf shop schedule above). The range closes every Wednesday from 8:30am - 11:00am for maintenance.

Range Dress Code: Collared golf shirts, clean and appropriate t-shirts, tailored pants and shorts, spikeless or soft spike golf shoes or athletic shoes. Jeans, t-shirts and athletic wear ok.

The Championship Golf Shop showcases the most innovative golf club technology from companies such as Titleist, Callaway, Cobra, PING, PXG, XIXO and TaylorMade and our PGA golf staff is qualified to provide custom club fitting. The Golf Shop staff has extensive knowledge on the best that golf merchandise has to offer, and seeks to help you feel more comfortable and confident with your golf game and your on-course/off-course style. The Golf Shop is open year-round for shopping. 

Brands include: Ahead, Cobra, FootJoy, Foray, GG Blue, Greg Norman, IBKUL, Jamie Sadock, johnnie O, Lucky in Love, Nike, Oakley, Puma, Revo, San Soleil, TaylorMade, Titleist, Travis Mathew, Under Armour and more. The golf shop also has a great selection of Incline Village logo items for gifts and souvenirs for golfers and non-golfers including hats, glassware, ornaments and more. 

The Grille at the Chateau

The Grille at The Chateau is a beautiful full service restaurant that serves lunch and happy hour during the golf season. The Grille at The Chateau has indoor and outdoor seating, wifi, and a full bar, overlooking the 18th green and Lake Tahoe.

Snack Bar

The Snack Bar, located next to the putting green, serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, beer, wine, cocktails and beverages during the golf season. The snack bar is typically open 20 minutes prior to the first tee time and remains open until 7:00 p.m.

Dress Code

We strive to provide a premier club setting and we appreciate our patrons choosing to dress in a respectful manner appropriate to the quality of the Championship Golf Course.

  • Appropriate attire includes: collared golf shirts, tailored pants or shorts, spikeless or soft spike golf shoes or athletic shoes. Ladies golf tops, shirts and skorts appropriate length.
  • Not allowed: Tank tops, halter tops, swimwear, t-shirts, denim or cut-off shorts, athletic shorts, swimwear, sweatpants, jeans, spiked golf shoes, flip flops.

Booking Policies

Tee times are available for booking two weeks in advance with no pre-booking fee. Any tee times booked outside of two weeks incurs a non-refundable pre-booking fee of $15 per golfer. This fee does not offset the green fee. (IVGID Recreation Pass holders are exempt from pre-booking fees.)

Cancellation policy

Fill out the Golf Contact Form and select "Tee Time Cancellation" to cancel tee time reservations. Cancel at least 72 hours prior to your tee time to avoid cancelation fees. 50% of green fees will be charged for cancelations made between 72 - 48 hours of tee time. Within 48 hours of tee time, full green fees will be charged for all golfers in your party. Pre-booking fees, if applicable, are non-refundable for all cancelations.

Single Players

Single players may only join an existing group. Please call the Golf Shop and we will do our best to pair you with other golfers.

Check-In Procedures

Golf cart keys will be in the Golf Shop for all carts.

  • Public Check-In Procedure: Each golfer responsible for their tee time or their group's tee time will be required to check in with the Golf Shop and pick up a receipt for the Starter. A golfer that is not responsible for payment, or someone in their group, will only be able to check themselves in for golf.
  • IVGID Check-In Procedure: All IVGID Recreation Pass Holders within a group must check themselves in individually and show their IVGID Pass. You may not check in other IVGID Pass Holders.  Verification of a valid IVGID Recreation Pass will be the only way to receive the IVGID Pass rates. 
Rider & Non-Player Fee

Non-player riders are welcome, but they must pay a rider fee of $35 per person. The rider must accompany a player. 

Cart Fee

Green fees include a shared golf cart. The single cart fee is $35 for golfers who want to ride solo (subject to availability). 

Rental Clubs

Men's and women's golf club rental sets are available for $85 per day.

Safety notice

The Golf Courses at Incline Village are fully operational from 7:00 a.m. to dark, seven days a week during the golf season. Non-golfers, walkers and bikers are not permitted on the cart paths at any time due to safety issues. Only paid golfers are allowed on the courses at any time. Anyone on the golf course must check in with Golf Shop staff.
