The Incline Village Recreation Center 25-yard, 8-lane indoor pool offers a variety of Aqua Fitness classes, swim programs and lap swimming. After your swim, relax in the sauna and shower off in the newly renovated locker rooms.

Aqua Fitness Classes
Aqua fitness classes at the Recreation Center pool are included with your Recreation Center membership or daily access.
Aqua Fitness is a fun, low-impact workout done in the water that’s perfect for all fitness levels! This invigorating class uses the natural resistance of water to build strength, improve cardiovascular endurance, and enhance flexibility—all while being gentle on your joints. Participants may use flotation belts, water dumbbells, and pool noodles to add variety and support. Whether you’re looking to strengthen muscles, burn calories, or simply enjoy a refreshing way to stay active, Aqua Fitness offers a dynamic and supportive environment. No swimming skills required!
55+ Aqua Fitness Class Rate
For those ages 55+ who want to attend a class, but not use the other facilities the special 55+ rate is $13 or $8 w/ IVGID Pass.
Summer Outdoor Classes at Burnt Cedar Pool
Beginning June 13, aqua fitness classes are also offered at the Burnt Cedar pool on Fridays (9:30-10:30am & 10:30-11:30am) and Saturdays (9:30-10:30am) for those with beach access. You must have a Recreation Center membership and/or proof of a Recreation Center day pass to participate. Please ask for an Aqua Fitness Pass when you check in at the gate at Burnt Cedar beach, and give it to the fitness attendant when you enter the pool gate. *No class on July 4 or July 5.
Aqua Fitness Personal Training (Ages 18+)
Training in the water provides a three-dimensional variable resistance environment to strengthen the body and can accommodate any fitness level and most injury limitations. Strength, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, range of motion, and fat-burning elements of fitness can be achieved simultaneously in the water with very little impact. Please call (775) 832-1188 to arrange for an appointment ($65/hour).
Pool Rules & Regulations*
- Please shower before entering the pool.
- Children under the age of 14 shall not use the pool without a parent or adult guardian in attendance.
- Children must be watched closely. Please keep non-swimming children within arm’s reach when in the water.
- Whistle means danger, pay attention.
- Persons having currently active diarrhea within the previous 14 days shall not be allowed to enter the water.
- Swim diapers are required for all patrons who are not toilet trained.
- No glass is permitted on the pool deck or on the beach.
- No running, horseplay, or dunking allowed.
- No diving at the shallow end of the pool.
- No long underwater breath holding.
- Floatation devices are allowed with lifeguard approval.
- Please do not talk to the lifeguard except for safety reasons.
- Food & drink are allowed in designated areas only.
- Proper swim attire must be worn, no cutoffs or T-shirts.
- No swimming or other use of the facility after dark.
