Bocce Ball Park

Bocce, also known as lawn bowling, is one of the most widely played games in the world and has been gaining popularity in Incline Village. The park is located in the creek-side forest area adjacent to the Incline Village Recreation Center parking lot (980 Incline Way), allowing residents without beach access and groups to get in on the bocce fun!

Bocce Ball Park Project History & Future

The IVGID Board of Trustees identified the construction of the Bocce courts as a priority project and approved construction in May 2020. The IVGID Engineering team and Rapid Construction finished the project in late July. Before the construction of the new park, the only court available in town was located on Ski Beach.

The Incline Tahoe Foundation is currently collecting donations to help make some improvements to this facility. Visit InclineTahoe.org for more information or to make a donation.

Bocce Court Surface

Did you know that the Incline Village Bocce Ball Courts have the ultimate playing surface? Bocce-Mix® is a finely ground aggregate blended with our proprietary macrobiotic powders and stabilizers to emulate a clay surface. Unlike clay, Bocce-Mix is easily maintained, can be played both as a hard (fast) surface or played soft (slow). Bocce-Mix is dust-free, will not track, and is not susceptible to loss with wind. It also holds up well under rain and snow, making it ideal for the mountains.

Bocce Ball & Group Rentals

Don't have a bocce set? Bocce sets are available for rent from the Recreation Center, during operating hours, for $20. You must leave your driver's license with the front desk and return the bocce set before the close of that day.

Bocce Boyz & Bocce Babes

Looking to play a friendly round of bocce? The Bocce Babes meet at the bocce courts weekly on Tuesdays at 10am during the summertime, and the Bocce Boyz meet weekly on Wednesdays at 10am.
