2025 Recreation Center Flooring Upgrades & Room Closures
The Incline Village Recreation Center is excited to announce a much-needed flooring upgrade in the Group Fitness Room, as well as annual resealing maintenance in the Gymnasium.
After 14 years of continuous use for fitness classes, dance classes and personal training, the Group Fitness Room will be getting a brand new floor installed starting on Aug. 18, 2025. The new Forever Marley Flooring surface offers enhanced shock absorption, vibration control and uniform bounce, helping reduce stress on joints and muscles.
The anticipated schedule for the Group Fitness Room flooring replacement project is:
- Aug. 17: Last group fitness classes in Group Fitness Room
- Aug. 18: Existing flooring removal
- Aug. 20: Installation begins of new flooring
- Aug. 20 – TBD: Flooring install is expected to take between 3 – 6 weeks depending on various environmental factors (temperature, humidity, curing time, etc.)
During the Group Fitness Room flooring installation, group fitness classes will move to The Zone, the gymnasium, the outdoor deck and/or the backyard at the Recreation Center. Yoga classes will temporarily move to Diamond Peak Ski Resort, upstairs in the Loft Bar area.
In addition to the Group Fitness Room flooring project, the Gymnasium at the Rec. Center will be closed for its annual resealing maintenance from Aug. 25 – 30, 2025.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we make this much-needed upgrade to the Group Fitness Room and conduct this annual maintenance in the gym. We will keep you informed of any changes or updates.
