Get Golf Ready Clinics
Meet other players with similar playing levels while learning the fundamentals of golf in a fun and unintimidating environment.
Level 1: Are you new to golf or returning after many years? Get Golf Ready is a series designed to teach everything you’ll need to play golf in three consecutive days of lessons. Each session will focus on essential golf skills. Topics covered include putting, chipping, short iron shots, long irons, hybrids, fairway woods, driving, course etiquette, and rules.
Level 2: This clinic series is designed for Get Golf Ready 1 graduates or golfers who have played 2 or more years. Each session will focus on essential golf skills in a group setting.
2024 Details
- Sessions:
- Session 1: May 21- 23, 2024 (Level 1)
- Session 2: June 18-20, 2024 (Level 1)
- Session 3: July 9-11, 2024 (Level 2)
- More July & August clinics may be added, staffing permitting – Dates TBD
- Day/Time: Tuesday – Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Cost: $250 per 3-day session, includes club rentals upon request. Maximum of 8 golfers per session.
- Attire: Golf shoes or comfortable sneakers. Casual and comfortable golf or athletic attire. Please no tank tops, short shorts/skirts, or low cut shirts.
- Location: Check in for the first day of the Get Golf Ready clinics at the Golf Shop at the Incline Village Championship Golf Course (955 Fairway Blvd., Incline Village) at least 15 minutes before the clinic start time. If you need rental clubs, please call ahead to request them at 775-832-1146. The final day of the clinic will take place at the Mountain Golf Course (690 Wilson Way).
Registration – Opens May 1
Register online at register.yourtahoeplace.com. If a session is full you can also register for the waiting list online. Learn how to set up your account on the Program Registration page. Public/Non-Residents may need to contact Parks & Rec to create an account.
Each participant must have a completed Incline Village Recreation waiver on file to participate in golf programs and clinics. Please email completed waivers to info@golfincline.com, drop off at the golf shop or bring to the first day of the program. Waivers are also available at the golf shops.
