Junior Lifeguard Camp (multiple sessions)
Dive into summer with the Incline Village Junior Lifeguard Program!
This fun-filled and formative experience is designed for kids ages 9–14 who want to build confidence, strength, and teamwork while learning essential water safety skills. In an exciting, recreational environment, participants will enjoy open-water swimming, learn about open-water safety, and receive instruction in First Aid and CPR.
The program focuses on open-water skill development, physical fitness, and lifeguarding, while teaching children to recognize potentially hazardous conditions in an ever-changing aquatic environment. Along the way, they develop teamwork, leadership, good sportsmanship, and a strong respect for the water, the environment, and themselves.
It’s the perfect blend of education, adventure, and fun—all while preparing young swimmers to be safer, stronger, and more confident in and around the water.
2026 Details & Requirements
- Must complete our Junior Lifeguard swim requirement (100 yard swim in under 3 minutes; 10 yard underwater swim; 5-minute tread)
- Wear required uniform
- Participants must have beach access in the form of an active IVGID Recreation Pass
- Ages: 9 – 14 years old
- Days/Times: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m
- Session 1: July 6 – July 9
- Session 2: July 13 – July 16
- Session 3: July 20 – July 23
- Session 4: July 27 – July 30
- Location: Incline Beach (967 Lakeshore Blvd.)
- Fees:
- $260 per session
- $871 for all four sessions
- $38 one-time swimsuit purchase
