Michael McCloskey, PGA: Director of Golf, Championship & Mountain Courses

Michael McCloskeyMichael McCloskey joined The Golf Courses at Incline Village as the Assistant Golf Professional/Tournament Coordinator in 2008 and is now the Director of Golf for both the Championship and Mountain Golf courses. Michael competed in golf tournaments at the highest level both on the state and national ranks up to college. Michael completed the prestigious New Mexico State University PGA Professional Golf Management Program. Jeff Clouthier, CGCS: Golf Course Superintendent, Championship Course

Jeff is a native of Littleton, CO and is married with two sons. Jeff has been in the golf business since 1988 and has been a superintendent since 1991. Before joining us, he was the golf course superintendent in Logan, Utah and Highlands Ranch, CO, where he also served as the construction superintendent on a new course (in Highlands Ranch). His various awards include the 2015 GCSAA Environmental Leader in Golf award, 2006 "GCSAA Environmental Leaders in Golf" award, and the "GCSAA Environmental Achievement Certification in Golf Course Development." To contact Jeff directly please email at jrc@ivgid.org or call (775) 832-1296

Jessica Dugan, PGA - Mountain Course Head Golf Professional

jessica duganJessica was born in Carson City and raised in Yerington Nevada. Her high school athletic accomplishments included all division honors in basketball, softball, and golf. She was also the 1995 AA High School Nevada State Golf Champion.  At Western Carolina University (WCU) in North Carolina, Jessica played four years of Division 1 scholarship golf while receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. She continued on at WCU, earning her MBA.  Jessica just recently relocated back home from Jacksonville, Florida where she was the Chapter Coordinator for the non-profit 501c3 “Fairways for Warriors”.  From 2008-2014 Jessica was the Tournament Coordinator at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.  Jessica Coordinated 148 annual member golf events and was fortunate to be the key staff member to help establish the Women’s Golf Network for the Olympic Club.  Jessica also assisted the Head Golf Professional with the 2012 U.S. Open and was a starter for the U.S. Open practice rounds.    Jessica has been a Teaching Professional and Assistant Golf Professional in North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, California and Florida and she has been a Class A PGA professional since 2006.  In the 2007 summer season she was the 1st Assistant at the Mountain Course and earned the prestigious “Summer Seasonal Employee of the Year Award” with IVGID.  Jessica is excited to be back with IVGID and she is looking forward to assisting with its continued excellence in the community. To contact Jessica directly please email at jbd@ivgid.org or call (775) 832-1339.

Kyle Thornburg, PGA: Head Golf Professional, Championship Course


Kyle Thornburg joined the Incline Village Golf Team in 2013 as the Tournament Coordinator/Assistant Golf Professional. He spends his winter months as the Co-Head Golf Professional at The Arizona Country Club in Phoenix, AZ. Kyle played four years of high school varsity golf, then two years at the collegiate level while attending Monterey Peninsula College.  Kyle has worked for some of the top golf courses in the world, including Cypress Point Golf Club. Rob Bruce, PGA: 1st Assistant Golf Professional, Championship Course

Rob is a PGA class A Member and leads the golf shop staff at the Championship Course. He grew up playing golf with his family on weekends and his passion motivated him to pursue a degree in Municipal Recreation at the University of Nevada, Reno and attend the San Diego Golf Academy.  In 1996 Rob took a position as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Championship Golf Course and worked here until 2004. He then spent several years working at Genoa Lakes, Coyote Moon and Schaffer’s Mill Golf Club before graduating from the GPTP (Golf Professional Training Program) of the PGA of America.  His experience includes Golf shop operations, tournament operations, junior golf camps, private and group golf instruction, and merchandising. Neil Gunn, PGA: Golf Teaching Professionalneil gunn headshot

Neil Gunn comes to Incline Village as a Lead Golf Instructor from TPC Sawgrass and World Golf Village in Saint Augustine, Florida, where he has been employed with the PGA Tour Academy since 2003. Prior to that, he was the Lead Golf School Instructor for the PGA of America at PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida. During his time at both facilities Neil has worked with several Top-100 Teachers in America, drawing from their vast knowledge and experience to perfect his instruction methods. Neil also travels nationally teaching golf clinics for Fortune-500 companies as well as Junior golf in Malaysia and Singapore. Neil Gunn grew up in Toronto, Canada and graduated from Slippery Rock University in PA. He has played in many mini-tour events and has a career low score of 66 in competition. He has great knowledge of the swing and continues to add to his knowledge base through PGA continuing education. His greatest asset though, is his interpersonal skills and relaying key elements of the golf swing in easy to understand language. Neil is happy to be returning to Incline Village for a third time and working hard for the residents and guests of Incline Village.

Rob Dugan, PGA: Golf Teaching Professional

Rob Dugan grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to Tucson, Arizona after graduating from Indiana University Bloomington. Rob worked for IVGID at the Championship course back in 2007 and has been fortunate to work at other great facilities including the Lodge at Ventana Canyon, The Presidio in San Francisco, Bonita Bay Club in Naples, FL, and Eagle landing Golf Club in Jacksonville. Rob has worked with all ages and skill levels. He worked with combat veterans in Jacksonville and started a chapter of Fairways for Warriors. Rob is available for private lessons, fittings, group clinics, playing lessons and can be reached by calling the golf shop or emailing him at rad@golfincline.com.
