Robert Bruce, PGA: Senior Head Golf Professional
After college, Rob moved to Southern California to attend the San Diego Golf Academy. He worked at the Championship Golf Course from 1996 – 2004 and then continued to expand his knowledge and experience by working at different types of facilities in the area. Rob graduated from the Golf Professional Training Program of the PGA of America and returned to the Championship Golf Course. His experience over the years includes golf shop operations, tournament operations, junior golf camps, private and group golf instruction and merchandising. Carson Kristich, Golf Operations Supervisor
Carson returns to the Incline Village Championship Golf Course in 2025 for his second season, now serving as the Golf Operations Supervisor at the Champ Course. Carson is currently a Level 2 PGA associate from the UNLV Professional Golf Management program, which specializes in tournament coordination, golf course operations and private golf lessons. Donny Ohu: Assistant Golf Professional, Mountain Course
Donny joins us with 10+ years in the golf industry, having held positions at Arrowhead Golf Course & Red Rocks CC in Colorado including golf operations staff supervisor to Tournament coordinator. Educated at the University of Colorado graduating with a B.S. in business management, Donny has made the move to Reno to be with his longtime girlfriend, and is extremely excited to be part of the Mountain Course golf team. Jeff Clouthier, CGCS: Golf Course Superintendent, Championship Course
Jeff grew up in Littleton, Colorado and has overseen all golf course maintenance and construction activities on the Championship and Mountain golf courses since June 2001. He also served as the project manager for the full renovation of the Championship course in 2003. Before coming to Incline Village he worked as a golf course superintendent in Logan, Utah and Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and was the construction superintendent on a new course in Highlands Ranch as well. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming and also has a Certificate from Cornell University in Turfgrass Management. He earned the prestigious designation of Certified Golf Course Superintendent from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in 1999. His various awards include the 2015 and 2006 “GCSAA Environmental Leaders in Golf” awards, and the GCSAA Environmental Achievement certification in Golf Course Development. Jeff also served the Incline Village community as the head baseball coach of Incline High School for 7 years, leading the team to the state championship in 2015. Spencer Nelson, Assistant Superintendent – Championship Course
Spencer developed a passion for golf maintenance while working seasonal golf course maintenance in Estes Park, Colorado. This led him to obtain a B.S. in Horticulture from Iowa State University. While at Iowa State, he did multiple internships at Yellowstone Club, Montreux Golf and Country Club, and helped construct a new practice facility for the ISU golf teams. After graduation Spencer returned to Yellowstone Club as the Senior Assistant Superintendent and has spent the last six years as Assistant Superintendent at Montreux. He has worked seven PGA Tour events including the Barracuda Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Jose Luis Torres, Assistant Superintendent – Mountain Course
Jose was recently promoted to the position of Assistant Superintendent at the Mountain Course. He served as the Maintenance Foreman at the Championship Course for seven years, after previously working as the Foreman at the Mountain Course from 2003 – 2011. He started with IVGID as a seasonal employee before quickly proving his value to the golf course maintenance operation and working his way up to a full time position.
Gregory Merritt: District Merchandiser
Greg has worked with the District at Diamond Peak and the Incline Village Golf Courses for over seven years and was promoted to District Merchandiser in 2022. Ashley Wolford, PGA: Golf Instructor
Ashley Wolford, a PGA of America Professional and a certified fitness professional, returned to the Lake Tahoe community of Incline Village after serving as the Head PGA Professional and Director of Fitness at the prestigious Presidio Golf & Concordia Club in San Francisco, from 2016-2019. A native to Incline Village, started both skiing and golfing at a young age and has always loved the Tahoe lifestyle. After graduating from Incline High School, she then earned a spot on the San Diego State University (SDSU) Division I Women’s Golf team and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. She then attended graduate school at SDSU, earning a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic development and sports and exercise psychology. Ashley was also an Assistant Golf Professional at the non-profit Pro Kids –The First Tee of San Diego, Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at her alma mater SDSU, Head Golf Professional at The Incline Village Mountain Course, Head Teaching Professional at the Incline Village Golf Courses,and is now co-owner of Iron & Wood Lake Tahoe. Her new role will involve running golf clinics, the PGA Junior League program, and teaching lessons at the Incline Village Golf Courses during golf season. Robyn Bradford, CPP PGA: Golf Instructor
Robyn Bradford, a PGA of America Professional, was the Head Golf Professional at The Incline Village Mountain Course from 2013 – 2018, and we are thrilled she is back in the area and teaching lessons this summer. A dedicated PGA member since 2009 and a lifelong golf enthusiast since the age of seven, Robyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our community. Her instructional focus includes juniors, women, and beginners—whether you’re new to the game or looking to refine your fundamentals. Robyn’s approachable teaching style and proven expertise make her an excellent resource for golfers of all skill levels. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to elevate your game under her guidance.
