What is the Championship Golf Course Cart Path Replacement Project?

Much of the pavement comprising the cart paths at the Incline Village Championship Golf Course is between 20 – 40 years old and needs replacement. This project scope is to replace the existing asphalt cart paths and structural pavement section.

Where is the project at in the planning/design/construction process?

As of January 2026: The IVGID Engineering team is in final negotiations of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) pre-construction agreement. This agreement will include design input and value engineering from the CMAR in collaboration with IVGID engineering and golf operations staff. Final design drawings and a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the cart path replacement will be prepared under this preconstruction agreement. Construction is expected to take a minimum of two seasons and is planned to start in September 2026. A construction schedule will be available following completion of the preconstruction contract and Board approval of the GMP if acceptable.
