New Website FAQ
The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) is pleased to roll out a new and improved online experience for visitors to the District’s YourTahoePlace.com website. IVGID’s new website brings a fresh design and layout to all of the District’s online presence, with enhanced accessibility, increased security and mobile-friendly design and functionality.
Notable changes from the old YourTahoePlace.com website include the consolidation of IVGID’s governmental affairs, financial transparency and administrative functions under the new “About IVGID” menu in the website navigation. There is also a new “Residents” menu item which hosts information relevant to those who live and/or own property in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, including water, sewer and trash service, IVGID passes and punch cards, and resources for sustainable living in the community.
Feature wise, the upgraded site search functionality includes the ability to find specific search terms both on website pages and/or within PDF documents uploaded to the site – just type a term into the search box up top to see how it works.

Q: How do I find ____?
For regular users of the YourTahoePlace.com website, we realize there have been some changes to where content is located. But we’ve also beefed up the search capability of the site. So before spending lots of time clicking through menus to find the information you’re looking for, first try clicking the search icon (magnifying glass) in the upper right of the top navigation menu and search for the information you’re looking for.
Q: Where did the Board Meetings & Agendas content go?
In conjunction with the new website launch, the District has also moved all of our Board of Trustees and board-appointed committees materials over to our new CivicPlus portal. The new portal serves as a one-stop shop for all things IVGID public meeting-related, with digital agendas, meeting materials, meeting minutes, and live streaming video links – all of it housed in a secure portal that will make these materials more accessible across all devices and easily searchable. To find the CivicPlus portal, click on the “About IVGID” menu item, then the “Meeting Agendas, Materials and Minutes” sub-menu item.
Q: What about the LiveStream broadcasts/recordings of meetings?
You can access streaming video broadcasts/recordings of Board and Committee meetings in the new CivicPlus portal. Simply select the “Meeting Media” link after clicking into the meeting you are interested in. For past meetings, you can find the meeting video, with timestamps listed for each item discussed, making it easy to jump directly into the topic you are interested in.
Q: Where did all of the Public Works pages go?
Most of the Public Works content has been moved under the new “Residents” menu item including information about setting up/transferring water, sewer and trash service, or if you have questions about your bills.
Q: How can I find information on building permits, backflow inspections, etc.
This information can be found on the Permits & Compliance page of the new website. We’ve tried to consolidate as much of the relevant information into this one page for ease of use.
IVGID will add to this FAQ as we start to receive community feedback and questions, so check back for more information.
