Recreation Center 25th Anniversary Party

In celebration of the Incline Village Recreation Center Members and the 25th Anniversary, Members are invited to an exclusive party with stories, appetizers, beverages and entertainment by stand-up comedian Camilla Cleese (John Clesse’s Daughter).  Please join us at the Rec Center Friday, November 17th from 6:00-8:30pm for this free and fun filled event!  (Ages 21+, invited guests and Recreation Center Members only please)

Pickleball Play

Beginning in November, pickleball play will move indoors to the Recreation Center Gym!  Below are the scheduled times of play:

Tuesdays: 7:30-8:30am

Thursdays: 7:30am-8:30am and 9:30-11:30am

Saturdays: 8:30am-10:30am

Sundays: (after Dec 24th) 8:30-11:00am

New Member Orientation

If you are a new member to the Incline Village Recreation Center, you may sign up for a complimentary “get acquainted” orientation. New members will receive a facility tour, an overview of the fitness/weight room, and some helpful program and class information. Call (775) 832-1350 to make an appointment. 

Cardiovascular Room

We offer a variety of cardiovascular equipment including elliptical cross trainers, treadmills, Stairmaster Free Climbers, a rower, bicycles (recumbent, spin, and upright), a Versaclimber and an Ergometer. Most of the cardiovascular fitness equipment is equipped with personal televisions and the rest are connected to the group cardio theater system, Broadcast Vision.

Strength Area

Includes 14 individual Cybex Eagle Strength circuit machines, a LifeFitness dual pulley system, Cybex Modular Strength System with six strength stations, dumbbells up to 100 pounds, 4 adjustable flat bench workout stations, and a plethora of small equipment for resistance, balance, core flexibility, and agility training.

Fitness Attendants

Fitness staff is available to answer simple strength and cardio equipment related questions at no charge Monday-Friday (9am-11am & 3:30pm - 6pm) and Saturdays  9am - 11am. If you need assistance at a special time, call (775) 832-1350 and we will be happy to arrange it.

Group Fitness Classes

More than 35 group fitness classes including yoga, cardio cycling, 55+ classes, Lunch Bunch, and TRX are offered at no charge to Recreation Center members. Check out the Group Fitness Class Schedule.

Fitness Challenges & Special Classes/Series

Indoor Pool & Sauna

Our 25 yard, 8 lane indoor pool offers a variety of Aqua Fitness classes with two lanes for lap swimming available during all pool hours (except during special events). See the Recreation Center Pool Schedule.

Personal Training

Personal training is provided by certified, trained professionals who will evaluate your individual fitness needs, design a plan of action, and motivate you to reach your fitness goals. See the Personal Training page for more information. 

Massage Therapy (18+)

Massage is a recognized, eff ective treatment for many health conditions and a great way to recover from the muscle stress created after fitness training. We offer Integrated Therapeutic Massage by appointment. Please inquire at the Host Desk (775) 832-1300. On-Site massage can be arranged for a group at the office or a special event at a rate of $1.45 per minute with a minimum of 10 minutes per massage and six people per on-site session. Nutrition Counseling

Whether it is weight management or a desire to lead a healthier life let our Registered Dietitian Jill Whisler be your partner in health. We understand there are many obstacles that make it difficult to stay motivated. Utilizing a Personal Nutrition Consultant can keep you on course and make your health goals an attainable reality.  Topics range from calories & your weight; portion control; exercise & nutrition; understanding and reading food labels; healthier carbohydrates, proteins and fats; healthy dining out; managing cholesterol and osteoporosis; healthy choices for type 2 Diabetes and more.
