Flag Retirement Ceremony
All are welcome to bring old and worn flags to retire in the traditional manner with a ceremonial retirement opportunity.
2025 Details 
- Date: Thursday, July 3, 2025
- Location: Aspen Grove – Village Green (960 Lakeshore Blvd., Incline Village, NV 89451)
- Time: 8:00 pm – 9:00pm The flag retirement burning will be timed with sunset. This event is weather permitting.
Collection boxes have been placed at the following locations for you to drop off your flag if it is time for its retirement and you are unable to attend the ceremony:
- IVGID Recreation Center
- Incline Village Library
- Contact Darlene at 775-832-1310 for other drop-off arrangements
Please note: if there is something special about your flag, we will respectfully share it during the ceremony if you include a note with information when you drop it off.
