Join our scaled-back hiking program for a relaxed weekly trek! Enjoy a leisurely-paced 3 to 5-mile hike with gentle elevation gain while exploring the beautiful Tahoe area. Connect with others, stay active, and take in the scenery.

2025 Details

Meet at the Recreation Center at 8:15am for a prompt 8:30am departure. Bring water, lunch, sunglasses/hat, and sunscreen, and hiking poles. Wear appropriate shoes and clothing. All hikes are weather permitting when safety is affected.

  • Who: Seniors 55+ (Adults 21+ welcome)
  • Dates: Mondays, May 12 – October 27, 2025
    • Excludes May 26, June 30 and September 1
  • Times: 8:15am – approximately 2:00pm (some hikes will require more or less time)
  • Location: Meet in the Recreation Center lobby (980 Incline Way)
  • Daily Fee: $15, $12 w/ IVGID Pass

Registration opens May 1 at 9:30am. Pre-registration is required. Register online at Register.YourTahoePlace.com at the Rec Center, or call the Recreation Counter at 775-832-1310.
