Summer Hiking Series
Explore Tahoe’s Beauty! Join IVGID Senior Programs for a guided hiking series traversing through some of the most breathtaking trails around Lake Tahoe. Perfect for active adults looking to enjoy the outdoors, stay fit and connect with others, these weekly hikes take place every Tuesday.
2026 Details
Meet at the Recreation Center at 8:15am for a prompt 8:30am departure. Bring water, lunch, sunglasses/hat, and sunscreen (camera and hiking poles are recommended). Wear appropriate shoes and clothing. All hikes are weather permitting when safety is affected.
- Who: Adults 18+
- Dates: Tuesdays, June 2 – October 20, 2026
- No hikes June 30 or September 8, 2026
- Times: 8:30am – approximately 2:30pm (some hikes will require more or less time)
- Location: Meet in the Recreation Center lobby (980 Incline Way)
- Daily Fee: Adults 18 – 59 $32 or $25 w/IVGID Picture Pass

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is 12:00pm on the Monday prior to the scheduled hike. Register online at Register.YourTahoePlace.com, by calling 775-832-1310 or visiting the Recreation Center (980 Incline Way). Cancellations requesting a refund must be submitted by 12:00pm on the Monday prior to the purchased session.
