Some women are intimidated to get into golf because they had a negative experience, think that they might get laughed at, stared at, etc. The reality is that golf is more welcoming to women now than ever. Here are a few ways you women can get started or more involved in golf this season at the Incline Village Golf Courses. robyn_swing

  1. Join a Get Golf Ready clinic series. Get Golf Ready is designed to teach everything you'll need to play golf in just five lessons, for a great price. We are also offering a few Level 2 sessions for Get Golf Ready 1 graduates or golfers who have played two or more years. These courses are open to both men and women but seem to be more popular with women because most women thrive in a group setting.
  2. Take a private lesson with a professional and be open to taking instruction from a man or a woman. Our team of instructors are a highly-motivated and educated team and have seen many different ability levels.  Getting private instruction from a pro can really help you improve, increasing your enjoyment of the game and lowering your score.
  3. Join a local golf club. The Mountain Niners and Incline Village Teesters invite IVGID Picture Pass Holders to join their clubs. This is a great way to meet other golfers and have fun! Golf clubs arrange scheduled tee times, tournaments, and socials throughout the season.
