Sewer Pump Station Improvements
Sewer Pump Station #1 is a critical asset in the District sewer collection network as it conveys approximately 75% of the District wastewater flow to the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The project includes replacement and upgrades to the major electrical components within the pump station including the Motor Control Center, the Variable Frequency Drives, and quick-connect locations for emergency backup power in the event of mains power loss.
Construction started in 2024. However, long lead times on the major electrical components necessitated a long project duration. Project completion is expected in August 2025.
