Burnt Cedar Generator Fuel Tank Replacement Project

As of the end of Sepember the new tank is in operation and the project has reached substaintial completion. Decommissiong of the 1990 era  underground storage tank is underway and is expected to be complete by the end of October.

Construction is ongoing at the Burnt Cedar Water disinfection plant in order to replace an existing underground storage tank with a new steel, above-ground storage tank that supplies fuel for the emergency backup generator that powers the disinfection plant in the event of a main power disruption.

Disruptions will be limited to minor entry and exit circulation movements and reduced parking in the west parking area.
