We asked about what they like about their jobs, why they originally took the job, and what kinds of questions they get on a daily basis.

Probably 90% of the questions we get are about how the passes work, especially the Recreation Punch Cards."

Why did you want this job? “I had lived here for a number of years, but didn’t know many people in town. The one place everybody eventually comes to is the front desk at the Rec. Center. So I figured it was the best way to get to know people; and it worked - I can’t go in to Raley’s without people saying my name and stopping to chat.”
