Summer Last Tracks Hikes

Hike up to Diamond Peak’s Snowflake Lodge and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Tahoe while tasting fine wines paired with gourmet appetizers. The event ends with a guided hike down the mountain via Freeway.

Fee: $70 ($60 w/IVGID Pass)
Location: Diamond Peak's Snowflake Lodge (1210 Ski Way, Incline Village)
Registration opens August 16th at 10am. Register online, at the Rec Center (980 Incline Way, Incline Village), or call 775-832-1310. Space is limited. Reservations are prepaid, no refunds. 

Participants must be able to complete the 1.5 mile hike (3 miles round trip) and be at least 21 years old. Check in at the Base Lodge from 4:00pm-5:30pm to sign the waiver and pick up a wristband. Everyone may hike up to Snowflake Lodge at their own pace but the event will begin promptly at 6:00pm. An assortment of cold beverages will be available for purchase prior to the event. The group will hike down after the tasting at 7:30pm. Please note: This is designed as a hiking event, bicycle riders will not be served alcohol at this event. So if you wish to enjoy the wine tasting, please do not ride a bicycle to the event.

Wednesday Evenings Painting With Watercolor

Join local watercolor artist Ronnie Rector for a fun, no pressure class where you will learn (or relearn!) basic watercolor techniques. Explore the use of :

  • Washes Layering for values

  • Controlling water and pigment 

  • Creating texture 

  • How to save those whites

Start with small sample pieces while learning each technique, allowing room for experimentation and notes. Then, progress to an 11 x 15” painting of your own. Ronnie will offer gentle guidance and suggestions for improving your work while answering your questions with honesty and humor to provide a great experience for all skill levels! See Flyer

Golf Fitness (Jun - Oct)

Adult Ballroom Dancing

Join Instructor Judy Lee for this enjoyable class open to all dancers ages 18-99! Ballroom dancing is a wonderful way to get in shape.  Previous dance experience is not necessary.  Wear comfortable, easy to move in clothing and appropriate dance shoes.

Adult Beginning Ballet

Challenge your mind and stretch your body in a friendly atmosphere with ballet instructor Danielle Pearson. This class includes fundamental ballet techniques for beginners. Free flowing movements make it an exciting experience while improving posture and balance. No prior ballet training necessary!  Ballet Flats required. Call 775.832.1310 for next session dates.

Cornhole League

Grab a partner and come toss some bags! League starts September 19th. Check back for more information. 

Adult Volleyball League 

Test your skills and have some fun. Join other local volleyball enthusists and play in the Adult Volleyball League. Fall dates: October 1st - December 17th. Winter dates February 4th - April 21st. Games are Tuesday nights! 

3 vs 3 Adult Coed Basketball League

Come test your skills in half court basketball. Wednesday nights starting September 25th. Games start at 6:30 PM and consist of two 10 minute halfs. $30/ player ($25 w/ IVGID). "Olympic rules" apply!

Incline Village Outdoor Adult Coed Soccer League 

Come kick it in our debut outdoor Coed Adult Soccer League! Played short-sided games (7 vs. 7) on a small field. Games are played Wednesday nights at 6, 7,8, 9pm on Incline Field 1 (upper middle school field.)” Registration and scrimmage day is September 4, at 6pm. League runs from Sept 11 - mid november. Shotokan Karate with Gregg Henrickson (All Ages)

This class is designed for everyone interested in learning the art of Karate. The beginner or the advanced student will be able to make great progress in self-defense and benefit from improved physical and mental health, self-discipline and self-confidence. This is an ongoing class.
