Dave Norehad has studied and taught Tai Chi for over 12 years under the guidance of Master Willie Lim of Classical Dimensions, based in Arizona. Dave’s Tai Chi Chuan l Chi Gung Training will focus on the Yang style short form, developed and introduced to the western world by Master Cheng Man Ching over 50 years ago. Dave is a third generation student/trainer in the lineage of Master Cheng and is also an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Fitness Instructor. Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) -on hold

Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art sport that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. BJJ advocates the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent by using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground. BJJ training can be used for overall fitness, sport grappling, and in self-defense situations. BJJ is considered a martial art, a sport, a method for promoting physical fitness and building character, and a way of life. 

Days: Mondays &  Thursdays (Does not meet on holidays)
Times:
6:15pm - 7:00pm Kids Age 6 + (children under 6- at the discretion of the instructor)
7:00pm - 8:30pm Adults  & kids ages 14+
Fee: Unlimited Monthly Pass: $159 or $149 w/IVGID pass/Rec Center Member

Adult Ballroom Dancing- on hold!

Join Instructor Judy Lee for this enjoyable class open to all dancers ages 18-99. Ballroom dancing is a wonderful way to get in shape.  Previous dance experience is not necessary.  Wear comfortable, easy to move in clothing and appropriate dance shoes.

Adult Beginning Ballet- on hold!

Challenge your mind and stretch your body in a friendly atmosphere with ballet instructor Danielle Pearson. This class includes fundamental ballet techniques for beginners. Free flowing movements make it an exciting experience while improving posture and balance. No prior ballet training necessary!  Ballet Flats required. Call 775.832.1310 for next session dates.

Incline Village Outdoor Adult Coed Soccer League -on hold!

Fall 2019 info: Come kick it in our debut outdoor Coed Adult Soccer League! Played short-sided games (7 vs. 7) on a small field. Games are played Wednesday nights at 6, 7,8, 9pm on Incline Field 1 (upper middle school field.)” Registration and scrimmage day is September 4, at 6pm. League runs from Sept 11 - mid november. Shotokan Karate with Gregg Henrickson (All Ages)- on hold

This class is designed for everyone interested in learning the art of Karate. The beginner or the advanced student will be able to make great progress in self-defense and benefit from improved physical and mental health, self-discipline and self-confidence. This is an ongoing class.
